What Are Klonopin and Xanax Used For?

Xanax is a drug that is administered to treat panic disorders, anxiety disorders, and anxiety caused by depression. It belongs to a group called benzodiazepines which increase the production of the neurotransmitter GABA. This is known to reduce the activity in nerve cells.
